Our scars are who we are and my works are sometimes just a reflection of that. I often load my canvases with a fairly heavy dose of colour; dabble with it until I achieve what most people might think of as some semblance of order. Right before the colour sets, I intensively rip off the layers and scar the paint, until the raw scribes beneath become visible and alive. I am mostly interested in the symphony of colour, texture and form.
I don’t do anything “orderly”. …I try, but it’s not my thing.
Abstract art to me speaks a language that words do not express. So when I paint, it is my way of being loud, while the rest of me remain absolutely quiet. I strongly oppose violence and I think of peace as what is truly beautiful. …Life itself. is my muse.
ENJOY THE WORKS!
